Bill Monahan ran gas stations and auto repair in Downtown Omaha starting in the 1930's. He quickly realized there was a demand for parking in his extra space.  Through the years he added more lots and garages around town.

 

His sons joined him in the 1960's and they incorporated a new company, Parking Management and Consultants, Inc - doing business as PMC and PMC Parking ever since.  Its still a family owned business with Bill's children and grandchildren as the owners.
